Graham shares the secrets of success at conference
A local business consultant and profit-improvement coach provided accountants from across the North of England with an expert insight into how to improve their business prospects, at a recent conference.
Graham Lamont, chief executive and managing partner of Cumbria-based chartered accountancy firm, Lamont Pridmore, gave an informative presentation on the ‘secrets of success’ at the Lakes Weekend Conference at the Lakeside Hotel, Newby Bridge.
He talked extensively about the ways in which business owners can improve profits and boost performance, including tactics on how to grow a business, what makes a winning company and his trusty ‘nine steps to success’.
Graham is well-experienced in delivering this type of seminar throughout the UK and has helped countless companies drastically improve their performance. In a recent project he coached nearly 60 businesses, and in just nine months helped them increase their combined profits by over £1.1m.
Clearly well-qualified to offer such pearls of wisdom, Graham grew his own practice from small beginnings into the nationally recognised, award-winning firm it is today, a firm which last year alone grew by an impressive 30%.
Graham shared with his audience at the Lakes Weekend Conference quotes from a wide range of successful people including Michelangelo’s famous statement that the ‘greatest danger is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that our aim is too low and we achieve it’, which is something I think applies to the world of business today.
A pro-active approach is one of the important traits of highly successful people and the CEO of Tesco recently said that “we do not generate more new ideas than other retailers, we just implement more of them”
Graham said: “My aim is to give business owners and managers a clear and easy-to follow guide on how to make the most of their company, with the ultimate goal of increasing their profits and growing their business.
“If I can pass on what I have learnt during my time in this industry, and help people to succeed, then I am happy.”
