Lamont Pridmore enjoys double celebration at Cumbria Tourism Awards
Lamont Pridmore, the Cumbria-based firm of chartered accountants, tax and business advisers, has once again sponsored a category at this year’s Cumbria Tourism Awards – with not one but two local businesses being declared winners.
The firm sponsored the Guest Accommodation of the Year accolade, which was jointly won by The Wild Boar Inn, in Windermere, and The Grange Country Guest House, in Keswick.
Lamont Pridmore chief executive Graham Lamont was on hand to present the awards to both winners at the ceremony, which took place at The Castle Green Hotel, in Kendal, on July 7.
The event was hosted by Rachel Agnew, best known as one of the presenters from ITV’s lunchtime chat show Loose Women.
Commenting on the evening, Graham Lamont said: “Tourism is an enormously important industry in Cumbria and the fact that not one but two finalists won the Guest Accommodation of the Year award demonstrates the calibre of entries this year.
“Both were extremely worthy winners and I was delighted to have been able to present them with awards in recognition of their contribution to the region’s tourism industry.”
