Local businesses are winners with Lamont Pridmore at Cumbria Growth 2010
Cumbria-based firm of chartered accountants, tax and business advisors Lamont Pridmore have announced the winners of the prize draw they held at the Cumbria Growth 2010 event.
The event, held at Carlisle Racecourse on June 10th, was an opportunity for local businesses to meet potential customers, source quality providers and share business growth ideas.
Lamont Pridmore, who had a stand at the event, marked the occasion by holding a prize draw.
The lucky winners were drawn the following day by Ella one of the Lamont Pridmore team who has now gone on maternity leave.
Gary Miller, managing director of Carlisle-based Compass Cabling Systems Ltd, scooped the first prize of a meal for two at La Pergola Italian restaurant in Carlisle.
Gary said: “Winning this prize from Lamont Pridmore has topped off what was already an extremely enjoyable day. I’m thrilled to have won.”
Second prize of a vintage bottle of champagne went to David Postlethwaite and Mel Patton of Turbine Services (Wind-hydro) Ltd, based in Lorton, Cumbria.
David said: “It’s great to have won this prize and be involved with such a prestigious event.”
