Chris is following in Dad's footsteps

Lamont Pridmore’s very own Chris Lamont is doing his part to improve the progression of the profession, having recently been voted on to the committee of the prestigious Cumberland Society of Chartered Accountants.

Chris, managing director of the firm’s Carlisle office, is following in his father’s footsteps as Graham Lamont, chief executive and managing partner of the firm has been an active member of the Society and was Chairman.

The Cumberland Society of Chartered Accountants is the regional branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) which exists to promote and ensure the highest possible standards within the accountancy profession.

Chris was voted on to the committee whilst attending the Society’s recent AGM.  He said: “Being elected as a committee member is a great honour and I am looking forward to working with the other Society members over the coming months.”
