Chris Lamont becomes a partner at Lamont Pridmore

Chris Lamont BSc (Hons), ACA, has been appointed a partner at Lamont Pridmore, the Cumbria-based family firm of chartered accountants, tax experts and business advisers. Chris joined Lamont Pridmore three years ago as Managing Director of the firm’s Carlisle office, where he has increased the client base by more than 300%. Workington-born Chris went to St Bees School before gaining a medical biology degree from Brunel University incorporating a year working for an international pharmaceutical company. |
He then trained and qualified as a chartered accountant with a top 30 firm in London and, although he was offered a fast track partnership, the call of his native Cumbria was far too strong, and he returned to join the family firm in March 2008.
