Lamont Pridmore one of the Top 10 "Best Employers" in the UK
Lamont Pridmore, the Cumbria-based family firm of chartered accountants, tax experts and business advisers has been ranked as one of the top-10 “Best Employers” in the British Accountancy Awards 2011. The Best Employers list is a joint venture between Accountancy Age and Best Companies Group and identifies the best ten accountancy firms to work for in the UK. |

Lamont Pridmore entered the two-part process, which included an evaluation of their policies, systems, philosophies and demographics.
The second part consisted of a confidential survey of all 50 employees of the firm to measure their experience of working for Lamont Pridmore.
Chief Executive Graham Lamont said: “We are all absolutely delighted to be shortlisted as one of the top-10 accountancy firms in the country to work for.
“We are particularly pleased as 75% of the “Employer of the Year” award is based on employee feedback. We are thrilled that there were so many positive comments about the firm and we are certain that this is why our highly motivated team provides such excellent customer service to our clients.

The British Accountancy Awards are dedicated to the accountancy profession in practice, rewarding outstanding performance and innovation across the sector, from small local firms to the larger regional, national and global players.
The British Accountancy Awards succeed the long-standing Accountancy Age Awards and follow a robust review involving some of the most respected members of the profession convened as a specialist advisory panel. The awards will be presented on 30 November 2011 at Old Billingsgate Market and will be attended by nearly 1000 guests.
Last month, Lamont Pridmore won the title of Most Innovative Small to Medium-sized Firm in the UK for 2011 in annual awards organised by the 2020Group, the UK’s largest membership organisation for forward thinking accountants.
Lamont Pridmore was also named as one of the UK’s top 100 accounting firms in the recent Accountancy Age 2011 Survey of the accountancy profession.
