Lamont Pridmore to show businesses 50 ways of saving tax
Lamont Pridmore are helping local firms ease their cash flow by showing them how to save tax.
The firm is holding a series of free seminars for businesses, which promises to let you in on the top 50 secrets for making savings on your tax bills.
The seminar will be given by Russ Cockburn, Head of Tax at Lamont Pridmore, who is a former Inspector of Taxes. This game keeper turned poacher has developed many solutions to help you keep your tax liability to a minimum, and he gives more than 100 lectures a year on behalf of The Institute of Chartered and Certified Accountants and other training organisations, teaching chartered accountants and their staff how to reduce the tax bills of their clients.
“The tax saving ideas in this seminar could be worth over £5,000 to the average business owner or private individual,” said Russ.
“In 2008/09 alone, Lamont Pridmore saved its clients more than £3m in tax. I will be happy to share my ideas with local businesses during our series of seminars, which are taking place throughout Cumbria.”

The seminar will take place on Tuesday, September 29th at The Castle Inn Hotel, Bassenthwaite, from 8.30am-10am and later the same day at The Carlisle Racecourse, Durdar Road, Carlisle, from 4.30pm-6pm.
Two more seminars will be held on Friday, October 16th: one at the Castle Green Hotel, Kendal, from 8.30am-10am and a second at The Abbey House Hotel, Barrow in Furness from 12.30pm-2pm.
