Lamont Pridmore shortlisted for prestigious national award
Lamont Pridmore, the Cumbrian-based family firm of chartered accountants, is celebrating after being shortlisted for this year’s prestigious Accountancy Age Awards.
The company is in the running for the ‘Small Firm of the Year’ title at the ceremony organised by the magazine of the same name. When selecting finalists, judges were looking for firms which demonstrated improved client focus, effectiveness, innovation and who added significant value to clients.

Now in their 16th year, the awards are recognised as the one of the main benchmarks of good practice in the UK accountancy industry.
The winners will be announced at a spectacular gala dinner which is being held at London’s Battersea Park Arena on November 17th.

The nomination comes just months after Lamont Pridmore was named as one of the Top 100 accounting firms in the UK. The Accountancy Age study also showed that Lamont Pridmore was the second fastest growing accountancy practice in the UK in 2010, with its income from fees going up by 29%.
