Graham is a Chartered Accountant with a number of additional business-related qualifications. Over the past 25 years, he has developed Lamont Pridmore from small beginnings into an organisation nationally recognised for the quality and range of its services.

Wilf is in charge of the Keswick office. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, he has over 30 years’ experience, qualifying with Ward and Pridmore in Keswick. Wilf has developed his general practice skills and gained a wide range of experience of both large and small businesses. He is interested in helping businesses with their financial problems and is responsible for audit regulations and all our specialist audits.

Karl has more than 20 years experience in the accountancy profession and is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He is also a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and an associate of the Chartered Management Institute.

Karl is married with children and outside the office enjoys all forms of sport, getting out in the fresh air with his family and socialising with friends.

Chris is a Chartered Accountant and has recently returned to the family firm after working for a top 30 practice in London in order to provide long term continuity for Lamont Pridmore. Over the past 7 years Chris has had a wide range of experience in the profession having worked on sole trader and partnership accounts but specialised in small to medium sized companies.

With more than 25 years’ experience in practice, Peter trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand in Manchester, having previously gained a degree in Management Sciences from UMIST.  He was later partner in Jones Harris & Co on the Fylde Coast in Lancashire, before moving to Penrith to join Wood Brooks & Co as a partner.  Peter specialises in family businesses and the hospitality and licenced trade.

Brian is a Chartered Accountant and qualified with a top 30 firm. He has over 20 years experience  in practice working with a large number of clients in a wide range of industries throughout Cumbria.  He has particular expertise in farming and related agricultural businesses.

Brian was born in Cumbria and his interests include football, golf and horse racing.

Richard worked for the Inland Revenue for 10 years as a Tax Officer before obtaining his tax qualification with KPMG a Big4 firm. He has worked in a wide range of practices throughout the North of England as a Tax Manager and a Tax Consultant.

Richard is experienced in all areas of taxation but has specialised in tax saving and tax planning including inheritance tax & capital gains tax, the taxation of trusts, and personal tax compliance. He really enjoys working for a family firm.

Phil is a Fellow member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and an associate member of the Chartered Management Institute. He has over 10 years experience in the accountancy profession and is responsible for a portfolio of corporate and non-corporate clients at our Kendal office.

Outside of work Phil enjoys playing cricket and golf and socialising with friends and family.

Les is Managing Director of the Workington office and has over 25 years experience within the profession. Born and educated locally, Les has an excellent understanding of the problems businesses experience and the issues faced on a daily basis and gains his motivation from seeing people succeed. International clients are included in his list of specialisms together with engineering and motor trades.

Susannah joined the firm in 1996 after working in public practice in Lancashire and Burnley for the previous 8 years. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Susannah has over 18 years experience in practice and specialises in all aspects of limited companies: incorporations, accounting systems, company secretarial matters, corporation tax planning and financial accounts compliance.

Gillian was born in Sheffield and moved to Workington with her family in 1969.  She is an ex-HM Revenue & Customs member of staff and joined the practice in 1988.

Gillian has over 30 years experience in all aspects of personal and business tax and over 20 years experience in all personal financial planning issues including pensions, investments etc.

Phil is a Fellow member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and an associate member of the Chartered Management Institute. He has over 10 years experience in the accountancy profession and is responsible for a portfolio of corporate and non-corporate clients at our Kendal office.

Outside of work Phil is a keen cricketer and golfer, he also volunteers his spare time as treasurer of Kendal cricket club.

Born in Workington and educated at Workington Grammar School, Stuart joined Lamont Pridmore in 1990 after gaining an honours degree in Accountancy & Finance from Liverpool University.

Stuart is married to Louise and is a proud dad to Rebecca & Mia, but still finds time to watch Liverpool Football Club (it's now a religion!), with other interests including playing sport, music and (occasionally) socialising  with friends.
