We are delighted to support grassroots football by sponsoring the rear of the Workington Blacks Juniors U11s’ shirts for the next two years.
The Workington Blacks Juniors U11s are one of three teams in their age group and bring together boys and girls from different schools, backgrounds and abilities to enjoy the nation’s favourite sport.
Many of the players have been part of the club since the age of five, and the sense of friendship and team spirit is clear to see.
Coach Simon Mattinson, who moved from “noisy parent” to leading the team in autumn 2023, has been a driving force in fostering that positive atmosphere.
The team recently celebrated their first win of the season in their brand-new kit, which was the perfect way to kick things off.
