Russ worked as an inspector of taxes for HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) before joining the accountancy profession in 1987 as a corporate tax manager. He is now Tax Consultant at Lamont Pridmore, and has developed national tax training and consultancy services.
In particular, Russ deals with HMRC enquiries, planning business and other asset disposals, family capital tax planning and business restructuring, as well as advising on the tax implications of corporate transactions. He can also advise on many other technical tax issues, and frequently represents individuals, firms and companies before the Tax Tribunal
