We’re delighted with 2nd place in the UK!

Lamont Pridmore - Accountants

We have recently secured second place in Accountancy Age’s inaugural Mid-Tier Power Index (MTPI) – a new list which highlights excellence in the accounting sector’s mid-market firms.

This is a huge accolade for us which also sets us apart as the only Cumbrian accountancy practice to be recognised in the index.

To decide the ranking, Accountancy Age assessed our whole performance, alongside qualitative criteria, which included innovation, efficiency, growth, professional excellence, people and community.

It is fair to say, they were impressed with what they discovered. However, it is our shift towards advisory services in recent years that particularly stood out for the judges.  It is this which differentiates us from more traditional accountancy practices.

But what does this mean for you?

Our inclusion in this list demonstrates that the level of proactive advice we provide to our clients in Cumbria and beyond competes with that offered by many larger, national firms.

Most importantly, it makes a real difference to the business and personal lives of our clients.

This achievement would not be possible without the support and hard work of our outstanding team who provide high quality technical advice and offer exceptional levels of service to our clients.

The fact that our firm – with 60 staff based in offices across Cumbria and Lancashire – was only just pipped to the post by a London firm with over 325 staff is a real achievement and highlights the quality of the services we deliver.

This new ranking is made up of only 40 of the nation’s best firms and has been judged by a team of experts, led by Accountancy Age, who provide technical insight to the UK’s accounting profession.
