    Application criteria

    The Lamont Pridmore Fund is managed by Cumbria Community Foundation who require that applications meet the following criteria:

    Applications must be made from organisations, schools or groups:

    • Based in West Cumbria
    • With a bank account with at least two signatories
    • With a constitution or set of rules (not applicable for registered charities, faith groups, and some uniformed groups)

    In general we are able to provide grants to the following:

    • Charitable organisations, e.g. village halls, youth groups, playgroups, etc (your group does not have to be a registered charity)
    • Social enterprises
    • Schools conducting activities additional to the curriculum

    We will require copies of the following supporting documents (where applicable) in order to assess your application:

    • The governing document (e.g. constitution, memorandum & articles, or rules) of your organisation/group;
    • The most recent annual accounts of your organisation/group or a spending plan and a recent bank statement if you are a new group;
    • Bank statements from the last three months from all accounts of the organisation/group;
    • Child Protection Policy (if you work with under 18s);
    • Safeguarding Policy (if you work with vulnerable adults);
    • Quotes (if purchasing items you must provide quotes from at least two different sources);
    • Digital photos of your project/activity/work to be completed
