Award-winning accountancy firm Lamont Pridmore presented a top business award to Sacha Taylor, applauding her passion and contribution to Business Studies.
Sacha was selected as the 2025/26 academic year recipient of the Business Studies Student of the Year award by Kirkbie Kendal School.
Head of Business, Mandy Booth, said: “Sacha has been an exceptional business student. She has actively participated in all lessons, asked pertinent questions to deepen her knowledge and settled seamlessly into life in KKS sixth form.
“Observing her hard work and determination was an absolute pleasure. I also had the privilege of being Sacha’s form tutor where I observed her caring and curious nature in a wider context.
“A truly deserving student who will relish the challenges of post school life and make a positive contribution to all she encounters,” Mandy added.
Having successfully completed her A Levels, Sacha is continuing her studies at Liverpool John Moores University where she will read Criminology and Psychology.
The award was presented by Carol Conyers, Client Relationship Manager, from Lamont Pridmore’s South Cumbria offices.
Carol said: “On behalf of Lamont Pridmore, I am delighted to hand out this year’s award to Sacha, whose talents and enthusiasm for business have been recognised by her teachers.”
“I am sure her hard work and diligent approach to education will see her go far, and we wish her all the best for her degree studies and beyond.”
Lamont Pridmore is proud to support and celebrate outstanding students through its annual school awards programme.
The firm aims to encourage and nurture the next generation of business leaders from schools across Cumbria.
